Background and Experience

I have always wanted to teach and have a passion for learning. I studied Geography and Environmental Management in Bristol, the city in which I was born and remain immensely proud of.

I started my career in 2005, having successfully completed the Graduate Teacher Programme. My experience includes two contrasting leadership roles; Raising Standards Co-Ordinator, and Assistant Principal, Post-16. I’ve worked in a range of challenging settings in both Berkshire and Hampshire. I believe that working with young people is the most rewarding and fulfilling role. No two days are the same, and nor would I want them to be.

Three Personal Values

  • Always strive to be the best version of you
  • Never expect anyone to do something that you would not
  • It’s ok to not know, but it’s not ok to not try

My Favourite Educational Quote
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever”
Mahatma Gandhi
