Year 12’s latest Aspirations Employability Diploma (AED) project is titled ‘How does the NHS overcome the barriers to attracting young people to join the NHS workforce?’
The whole year group have been working in groups to identify barriers and challenges and come up with suitable solutions to them. Jacky Hoyle, NHS Dorset Outreach, posed the driving question and came to judge all the presentations. The calibre and level of thought in the presentations was exceptionally high with the eventual winners being announced as: Zach, Oscar, Josh and Oliver.
The winners will now go through to the AED Final where they will be up against the winners from each of the Aspiration academies.
