Step 1: Futures Guidance

A key part of the Futures programme for students in Years 10 and 11 is learning about the many different pathways to choose from at Post 16. Students will match their interest, skills and career intentions to the different courses available.

We encourage students, parents and carers to explore and understand all the different pathways before making the important decision about where and what to study at Post 16.

step 2: sixth form information events

You will be invited to attend our Sixth Form information evening, during which you may spend time with subject specialists discussing both the content, assessment and entry requirements for each subject. The event will include a welcome from the Principal, and an introduction to the Sixth Form from the Assistant Principal and Pastoral tutor team.

Following on from this, you may also attend our Sixth Form ‘welcome experience’ alongside other members of your year group. This session is set within the Sixth Form Hub, and provides the opportunity for further research, and to ask wider questions of the Assistant Principal, Sixth Form students and Pastoral tutors.
