On the 4th July; a squad of 8 students from Year 7 & 8 headed to Ringwood Football Club to participate in a AFC Bournemouth Football Tournament.
In a tough first encounter Magna dominated possession before playing some crisp and slick football which resulted in Lewis B slotting home into the bottom right hand corner. Another slick passage of play also resulted in Josh M drilling in a left footed shot into the bottom corner. The opposition then scored with minutes to spare making the last few minutes nervy but Magna held out to win 2-1.
The second game was a narrow 1-0 defeat before dominating the third group stage game against Oak Academy and winning 3-0 with an excellent goal from Harry B and Ben L.
Finishing 2nd in the group we played against the opposition who beat us narrowly 1-0 in the Group Stages. In a totally dominant performance Magna won 3-0 with some excellent football and goals scored.
This led us to the final and in tough conditions Magna won 2-0 which led us to be CHAMPIONS OF RINGWOOD.
