We are delighted that our students’ abilities and efforts have been recognised and reflected in this year’s results. These results are also testament to the expertise and relentless drive of all staff at the academy in what has been an incredibly challenging year for us all. Ongoing collaboration and the support of parents/carers has enabled the Magna community to continue to strive for the best and achieve, despite such challenges.

The skill and professionalism of teaching staff combined with robust academy systems means that our students have been awarded fair and realistic grades based upon Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGS).  This year’s results, once again demonstrates our ability to provide outstanding learning for all our students. We are incredibly proud of all of our students who achieved their best through endeavour and hard work, but particular mention should go to four of our students who achieved a set of stunning results – all grade 8-9s, Shelia Monera-Cabarique, Eve Mengell, Katie Kuziara and Dylan Mumford.

When opening her GCSE results, she said she felt ‘relieved, very happy but very shocked’ at how well she had done.
