Year 9

At Magna Academy Poole, we are very aware that being aged 13 and 14 is a challenging time for children.  Having established themselves in a senior school through their first two years, this is now a time of huge adolescent changes for them - whether physical, emotional, social or in terms of their learning.

To help students through these difficult years, we combine a challenging programme of learning with open-door pastoral support. It is our goal to develop each student to realise their full potential and to maximise their life chances in an increasingly demanding 21st Century.

As Year 9 continue to work towards their GCSEs and BTECs, we have put together a number of links and resources to help both parents and students prepare for this busy and potentially stressful time.

Please click on any of the links to the left side of this page (under 'Subject Resources') to see subject-specific revision resources that have been published to help and support you. If there are more or different resources that you would like to see added, please let your Form Tutor know. These resources are also designed to help you with everything from creating a revision timetable to dealing with stress.

We will be continuing to add information to these pages as frequently as we can, so keep checking the website to see what other resources are available.
