Key Stage 3
Students will follow the core homework timetable below. This underpins the learning that takes place within each unit, and it is expected that all tasks are completed in full.

KS3 Suggested Reading List
Key Stage 4
Years 10 and 11: Subject homework is comprised of two 1 hour subject homeworks per night. 30 minutes will be self quizzing, whilst the other 30 minutes will be set by the class teacher.

Key Stage 5
Students are expected to complete one hour of homework for each hour of learning within the academy. This homework will consist of self-quizzing or effective revision, subject specific homework tasks and wider independent study.
Examples of Further Tasks:
- Preparatory notes
 - Flip learning
 - Practice
 - Exam practice
 - Essay completion
 - Assignment research or write-up
 - DEAR subject specific reading, reflection and response
 
Each subject teacher will set homework on the same day each week, giving a full week to complete the tasks set – subject to timetabling.
