Last night, students from Magna Academy performed as part of the Poole Schools’ Music Association Christmas Concert at The Lighthouse. They were part of a joint choir made up of around 325 students from 13 different Primary and Secondary schools in Poole. The concert featured a range of festive music and a full orchestra. It was also an opportunity for them to perform in a large concert hall in front of around 1000 people. Special mention goes to Sophie R in Year 9 who read an amusing festive poem on top of performing in the choir.
The Magna Academy Vocal group and Musical cast have had a busy couple of weeks having performed at Festive Friday, The ARCH Canford Heath Christmas lights turn on and also at last nights concert. Their final performance this term will be as part of the Christmas Showcase held on the 14th December at 6pm.
