During our recent student Leadership meeting, we were privileged to host BCP Youth Worker Rebecca McDade and two Year 12 work experience students for an inspiring workshop on the BCP ‘Make Your Mark’ campaigns.
In February, every student in our academy had the exciting opportunity to vote on two critical local issues for the newly elected Members of Youth Parliament to address. Among these MYPs is our very own Ryan Cornish! The two issues that resonated most with Magna students were Crime & Safety and Health & Well-being, reflecting the overall consensus in the broader community.
Tuesday’s workshop was a dynamic session where student leaders brainstormed impactful strategies to address these important areas within our academy. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed was remarkable, and we are eagerly anticipating the next meeting scheduled for September to review our progress and refine our initiatives.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to make a difference!
