We are delighted that our students’ abilities and efforts have been recognised and reflected in this year’s results. Congratulations to all of our students and their families. Many of this Year group were unable to sit GCSEs in 2020 so this summer’s exams were the first external assessments they took. It’s a tremendous achievement, and we are very proud of all of our students.

We are absolutely delighted to share that Katie K will be going to Oxford University to study BA (Hons) Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE). Katie is the first Magna Academy student to go to Oxford and we are incredibly proud of her. Other success stories include Saphron S who is going to the Royal Veterinary College, London and Eve M who gained an A* in geography, A in biology, A in psychology and an A in her EPQ. Eve is now going to Reading University to study MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.

Dylan M achieved 1 A*, 2 A’s and and B. Dylan is going to Brighton University to study BA (Hons) English Literature and Simeon G gained 2 A’s and a B and is going to Southampton University to study BA (Hons) Psychology and Law. Tean R achieved an A* in photography and will now pursue his dream job in event photography and having achieved the required grades Jacob C will be starting an apprenticeship in September at Superior Seals, Dorset. On receiving his results Jacob said ‘I have really enjoyed my time at Magna. The teacher’s are great and have supported me relentlessly during my two years in the sixth form’.

These results are also testament to the skill, expertise and relentless drive of all staff at the academy. Collaboration and the support of parents/carers has enabled the Magna community to continue to strive for the best and achieve.

We take great pride in our student’s achievements. As a vibrant and growing sixth form it is important that prospective students can join us with the confidence that they will experience an outstanding education here at Magna Academy Sixth Form.

Magna has been an amazing experience that I will always be grateful for, I will forever be thankful for the incredible memories, people and staff in sixth form.
